Hello! I am an End-of-Life Doula and Educator. I serve as the Director of Student Success for The International Doula Life Movement Training School, based out of Texas. I specialize in Advance Care Planning, teaching a 13-week course that covers all the necessary paperwork to ensure that individuals can have a plan in place for living fully and being prepared for what life may bring. Whether your 18-40-60- or 80 we all need a plan. We plan everything in life vacations, education, marriage, divorce, childbirth, home buying the list goes on...BUT we fail to plan the second biggest event in our life. The first big event is our Birth- we had no control over that one! BUT the second big event is DEATH and we have so much control here. We have every opportunity to plan for what that will look like should we merely grow old or if we are diagnosed with a serious illness. Advance Care Planning is so much more than a simple state directive, yet few understand the real complexity or the need. A well-planned Advance Care Plan is the final gift we give ourselves and those who love us. I have done this work for the past 40+ years, I have seen far too many families in chaos, as well as having supported families who have a plan and are able to calmly move through difficult times. I have a passion for ensuring that everyone has a plan and know that their life is in order before a storm arrives
